Every time you run a job on Rowan, you spend credits. One credit is one minute of computational time. Calculations and workflows will always show the number of credits they cost in the "Overview" or "Info" tab.
In addition to the credits on signup, free tier users get 20 credits per week. Note that these credits do not roll over if not used.
You can check your credit balance in a few places, including:
You can set up a credit balance warning on your account page ("Account" [top right corner] > "Account").
If you pass your credit balance warning threshold, Rowan will let you know in two ways:
When your credit balance reaches 0, you won't be able to run any new jobs. (We're working on an auto-recharge feature to keep your credit balance topped up.)
To purchase more credits, navigate to the credits & billing page ("Account" > "Credits & Billing") and navigate to the "Purchase Credits" section
Your billing history will be saved, and you can quickly sort through your past transactions on the transactions page.
To view your billing history, navigate to the transactions page ("Account" > "Credits & Billing" > "transactions page" [link in billing section]).
Subscription users get more weekly credits (1250) and access to the latest rowan featuers like advanced workflows and GPU inference for ML models.
To subscribe, navigate to the credits & billing page ("Account" > "Credits & Billing") and click the "Upgrade" button. This will take you to a stripe checkout page where you can purchase a subscription.
